ESS Attends Virginia Energy Conference; Joins Virginia Offshore Wind Coalition

October 13, 2010- Wellesley, Massachusetts - ESS Group, Inc. President & CEO Charles Natale is attending "Virginia: Energy Capital of the East Coast-The Governor's Conference on Energy" from October 12-14. The conference is hosted by Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and provides a comprehensive program featuring the latest information on state and federal regulatory activity, cutting edge projects, and research and development currently underway at Virginia's universities.

Conference exhibitors include the Virginia Offshore Wind (VOW) Coalition, a non-profit organization made up of businesses, government, organizations, and others interested in the development and promotion of the offshore wind industry in Virginia. ESS has been an Associate Member of VOW since February and actively participates in its planning and outreach on a national and global scale.

Commenting on the Virginia conference and ESS participation as a VOW member Mr. Natale stated, "Virginia would be an ideal location for an offshore wind farm for a variety of geographic, environmental, and economic reasons. With support from events like the Governor's conference and VOW, Virginia is poised to become a national hub for wind development."
