ESS on Winning Wind Energy Team
ESS is pleased to announce that it is on the Wind Energy Development LLC (WED) team selected to develop a potential wind energy project in Westerly, Rhode Island. ESS will perform visual, sound, and environmental analyses to help WED assess the feasibility of potential project sites.

ESS Joins COLAP
ESS recently became a member of the Massachusetts Congress of Lake and Pond Associations, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, maintain, and enhance the environmental, aesthetic, recreational, and economic values of lakes and ponds, and to promote watershed management within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. ESS Vice President Carl Nielsen contributed an article to the COLAP Winter 2011 Newsletter detailing ESS's Pilot Study on Aquatic Invasive Plant Control in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

NECA Annual Holiday Event
ESS Senior Project Manager George Bacon and Practice Leader Payson Whitney will attend the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association Fifth Annual Holiday Networking Reception. ESS Practice Leader Bill Chapman will attend the Citizens' Housing and Planning Association New England Housing Network Annual Conference. Industry professionals from all six New England states will come together to discuss this years conference topic: "Protecting and Creating Affordable Housing: How New England Can Meet the Challenge in a Time of Economic Distress". Conference participants will learn the latest information from national and local experts, share information on affordable housing and community development initiatives in each of our states, and learn how the economy will impact future efforts.

Restructuring Roundtable
