December News & Project UpdatesESS on Winning Wind Energy Team ESS is pleased to announce that it is on the Wind Energy Development LLC (WED) team selected to develop a potential wind energy project in Westerly, Rhode Island. ESS will perform visual, sound, and environmental analyses to help WED assess the feasibility of potential project sites. ESS Joins COLAP ESS recently became a member of the Massachusetts Congress of Lake and Pond Associations, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, maintain, and enhance the environmental, aesthetic, recreational, and economic values of lakes and ponds, and to promote watershed management within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. ESS Vice President Carl Nielsen contributed an article to the COLAP Winter 2011 Newsletter detailing ESS's Pilot Study on Aquatic Invasive Plant Control in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
