ESS Presents at EBC Seminar:  Stormwater Management - Adjusting to New Paradigms

ESS Senior Vice President Chris Rein is Program Chair and Moderator for this EBC Rhode Island Chapter program, which will be held at Save the Bay, a facility that has incorporated many innovative stormwater management techniques throughout its design. ESS Vice President Carl Nielsen will present "Modeling and Documenting the Benefits of LID - Recent Examples of Success."  ESS Land Development & Engineering Practice Leader John Van Dell will also be attendance. A key topic for the program will be Rhode Island's new stormwater management manual which will be discussed by representatives from both RIDEM and CRMC. They will share the underlying science that is shaping Rhode Island's stormwater policy and regulations.

Carol Wasserman Presents at Offshore Energy Development Conference

ESS Principal Regulatory Specialist Carol Wasserman will present at the Offshore Energy Development Conference presented by Law Seminars International. This seminar will examine the current state of permitting requirements, interagency cooperation, national leadership and its impact on offshore renewable energy development as well as the relationships between offshore wind and other seabed users.
