ESS Welcomes George Bacon, Senior Project Manager

November 18, 2011 – ESS is pleased to announce that George Bacon has joined the Energy & Industrial Services Practice as a Senior Project Manager. George has 38 years of power industry experience as a consultant and developer for a wide range of electric generation facilities. 

As Vice President of Development for Pure Energy Resources, George worked closely with ESS over the past several years on the Bayonne Energy Center Project in New Jersey. George has also been a Development Manager at Calpine Corporation where he was tasked with developing generation assets in Ohio and providing development assistance on projects throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Prior to Calpine, he was an Environmental Project Manager with Stone & Webster for more than 27 years.  With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, George participated in the engineering of numerous power generation projects as well as due diligence and asset evaluations for numerous generation facilities.

George will be working with ESS energy and industrial clients nationwide on due diligence/acquisitions, asset development, facility improvements, and operations.
