December 23, 2009 - Wellesley, Massachsuetts
 - ESS Group, Inc., on behalf of its employees, will make several donations this holiday season to charitable organizations local to each of its offices. Monetary donations will be presented to Rosie's Place of Boston - Home for Battered Women and Children, which does not receive any federal funding and is completely volunteer; and to Crossroads Rhode Island, the state's largest homeless services organization providing food, shelter, and counseling for battered women and the homeless.

ESS is also holding its Second Annual Holiday Food Drive to collect contributions from employees, which will be donated to the Rhode Island Food Bank and the Greater Boston Food Bank. These organizations feed families, children, and homeless people in their respective communities who would otherwise go hungry during the holidays and long winter months.

Other ESS donations in 2009 include a gift to the Michael Gordon Foundation, which funds the West End House (Boston) Boys & Girls Club, to provide 1,250 meals to inner city children of Boston in 2010 that do not have the family or financial capacity to feed themselves; and to the Michael Gordon Foundation to support grants for children of the West End House to participate in Thompson’s Island Outward Bound - Operation Intercept Program, which helps inner city youth achieve their utmost potential.

President and CEO Charles Natale states, "As we all know, 2009 has been a very difficult year for many people, including the charitable organizations that support those in need. ESS has always prided itself in corporate social responsibility by participating and sponsoring many charitable and community service events throughout the year on behalf of our employees, their families, and our clients. This will surely be a tough winter for many of these organizations and we can help."
