GIS Technician, Ecological & Environmental Permitting
ESS Group, Inc. is seeking a Mid-level GIS Technician with 3-5 years of experience utilizing GIS (ArcGIS) technology to join our Ecological & Environmental Permitting Practice. Candidate should be proficient with ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop as well as Spatial and 3D Analyst Extensions. Ideal candidate will have experience in data collection and editing, analysis and presentation, map and graphics production, and QA/QC. Knowledge of GPS technology (Trimble), image processing (Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro), Autodesk Land Desktop, Autodesk Viz / 3DS Max applications are a plus.
The successful candidate will provide technical support and work directly with experienced GIS personnel in a multidisciplinary environment. Engineering, utility, or environmental experience desired. Minimum of a bachelor of science degree in GIS, geography, or environmental field with strong GIS applications.
