Remediation Engineer, Environmental Geosciences & Engineering
The ESS Group, Inc. Environmental Geosciences and Engineering (EGE) Practice is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to join our East Providence, Rhode Island or Wellesley, Massachusetts office. The position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) with at least 8 years of experience managing remediation site investigations and remedial design projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience with remediation feasibility studies, remediation system design, and earthwork design. Strong project management, technical, regulatory, communication, and client skills are essential. The Remediation Engineer position requires a Professional Engineer registration, with a Rhode Island registration or the ability to obtain one, and familiarity with RIDEM regulations. Proficient computer-aided design and presentation skills in standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS) are a must, as well as experience with process engineering design.
The Remediation Engineer will be the engineer of record for Remedial Action Work Plans and other design plans associated with remediation projects. In addition, the Engineer will provide our EGE junior engineering staff with technical direction and mentoring, and supporting business development efforts for the EGE Practice in Rhode Island.
Location: East Providence, Rhode Island and Wellesley, Massachusetts
