Elizabeth T. Gowell

Marketing & Human Resources

Elizabeth Gowell is a Vice President at ESS Group, Inc. overseeing Marketing and Human Resources, a position she has held since January 2003. In this role, Ms. Gowell oversees the company’s strategic marketing and HR initiatives, including business development, training, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and benefits.

For six years prior to this, she served as an ESS Senior Project Manager specializing in coastal planning, aquatic resource assessments, and marine and coastal biology. She has been responsible for the preparation of numerous Environmental Impact Reports and has managed water, wetlands, tidelands and coastal zone management permits for a variety of complex projects. Ms. Gowell’s project experience includes power generation facilities, electric transmission and natural gas pipeline projects, marine terminals, marinas, and large-scale commercial developments.
