The scientific foundation of ESS, in combination with a strong environmental engineering staff, provides a very well-balanced approach in dealing with ecosystem dynamics. They use a very sound scientific investigative basis for their decision making process. I highly recommend ESS to provide long-term pond management oversight.

Wetland & Ecological Evaluations
Team Approach to Wetland EvaluationESS has in-house wetland scientists, water resource specialists, ecologists, botanists, soils scientists, wildlife biologists, and resource planners who form a multi-disciplinary team able to evaluate wetlands and ecological resources holistically and systematically. This team approach considers all physical, chemical, and biological factors that may impact project design, as well as the many permitting requirements associated with wetland conservation and ecological resources. Our multi-disciplinary scientific approach to impact assessments is preferred by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and state regulatory agencies early and our team’s early input into site evaluations and project design helps clients minimize or avoid ecological impacts. The end result is timely, successful completion of each project, which reflects extremely well on our clients. Our wetland consulting services employ a variety of methods and tools including field surveys, photogrammetric interpretation, remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems data, and environmental modeling.
